Hi, I am Deanna Welch.
I’m a Central Il area photographer located in Decatur. I’m a wedding, engagement, senior, maternity, newborn + family photographer that serves those who love to laugh and create memories that last a lifetime. I love adventure and am always up to try out a new location or idea during all of my sessions.
Besides being a photographer, I am a wife and mom to two amazing children. My daughter recently graduated with her bachelors in Psych and my son jumped right into the workforce. I work full time during the week and take photos on the weekends. This past summer I married my best friend in Florida and loved every minute. I love snuggling with my dog & cats, traveling with my hubby, riding motorcycles, playing board games with my grandma and spending time with my amazing friends & family. Once you get to know you me, you'll soon learn that I am not a very serious person but a hard worker who loves to celebrate life & capture all it's wonderful moments.

What is a mobile app?
A mobile app is an app placed on a mobile device that display purchased images. To see an example copy and past the following URL in your browser:

Do I get a CD of all the images?
No. Several images are taken and culled through after a session. Number of proof images taken from each session is not the same. A purchased proof is retouched after selection.
What kind of gear do you use?
I use a Nikon D810 with Nikkor professional lenses.
Do I have to order prints through you?
We prefer prints are ordered from us. This is ensure to color accuracy quality, and longevity of the image. Although we live in a digital era, a print is still as important in photography. But, for those who want digitals, we offer digital images with a printing release.
Can I reschedule my sessions?
Sessions can be rescheduled one time free of charge. While I understand life happens, my time is also valuable. Cancellation must be done within 48 hours. If you cancel the day of the session, the deposit will not be refunded. If weather is an issue (due to photographers' discretion), I will reach out within 48 hours of the session to reschedule.
